I spent the first 20 years of my career as a physical therapist; but in 2013 I took over the Director of Administration position in Mike’s private practice. I quickly realized that my front office team didn’t have the systems or training necessary to properly handle patients and ensure they got the care they needed. So, I created an entire system of training for my front desk. This training was designed to improve my team’s ability to handle patients from the first call through a successfully completed plan of care. The front desk training resulted in all of our metrics booming because more patients were consistently scheduled and arriving for care.

Around that time, I had other practice owners and managers asking for my help, so, in 2016 I started Front Office GURU to help private practices get similar results through systems, training and coaching. And in 2020, I rolled out my virtual training platform so practices could have a system of consistent training for their front desk, right at their fingertips.

Now, I help physical therapy practice owners provide their front office staff with the necessary tools for successful patient management so they can help more patients to consistently schedule and arrive for care.
